Woodrow “Woody” Vega, 88, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off on Thursday, December 28th, 2023 from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Woodrow is survived by his sons: Paul J. Vega (Darlene), Kevin P. Vega, and Reginald A. Vega (Jenni); grandchildren: Jacob, Geneva, Brandon, Jordie, Dominick, Abigail, Andrea; great grandchildren: Tahj, Neko, Scarlett, Caleb, and cousin: Jill.
Mr. Vega was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years: Janice Vega; daughter in law: Nancy Vega; grandchildren: Bryan, Deke; parents: Hector and Leah Vega; sister Alice Vega: and cousin: Lisa.
Woody loved his wife’s cooking, LSU sports, playing cards, was a hard worker and provider for his family.
