Wilton P. Morvant, 93, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Hazel Morvant; children, Charlene Samanie (Mike), Mark Morvant (Debbie) and Myra Guidroz (Frank); grandchildren, Nicole, Jamie, Lauren, Jill, Jay, Chandler, Nick, Kelly and Mindy and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Morvant Sr. and Edith Morvant; brothers, Sidney Morvant Jr. and Elery Morvant and sister, Edith Waguespack.
Wilton was a Korean Conflict veteran and a member of the American Legion.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
