Wilson Joseph Cheramie, Jr., age 75, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9 am until service time at 11 am, with a graveside service to follow at St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery in Houma.
Wilson is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sharon Marie Lirette Cheramie; brother, Keith Cheramie; sisters, Cathie Cheramie and Myra Cheramie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, Clayo and Amelia Plaisance Cheramie, and Wilson Phillippe Cheramie, Sr. and Josephine Marie Ford Cheramie; brothers, Steve Cheramie and Sidney Cheramie; and sister, Enolia Bei.
Wilson was kind and gentle man. He was adored by his nieces and nephews who all called him “parrain”.
