Willis Joseph Verdin, 73, a native of Galliano and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Chiasson Verdin; sons, Carter Verdin (Shirley), Layman Verdin (Lisa), Kirk Verdin (Nicole); daughters, Charlene Verdin (Perry) and Tammy Theriot (Corky); brother, Ebdon Verdin; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren,
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mayfield and Georgiana Verdin; brothers, Harris, Leo and Frankie Verdin and sisters, Bridgette Naquin, Ezola Guidry and Ezoline Hunter.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
