Willie Joseph Lapeyrouse

Willie Joseph Lapeyrouse, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 11:03 a.m. He was a native of Chauvin, past resident of Pointe-Aux-Chenes and Bayou Pigeon and a current resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Monday, December 8, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a service at 11:00 a.m.

Willie is survived by his son, Louis J. Lapeyrouse and wife, Mindy; daughters, Libby A. Lapeyrouse and Nita L. Carrington; grandchildren, Theresa (Alex) Mayet, Tyler (Alexia) Lapeyrouse, Tayler (Bryce) Lapeyrouse, Wesley (Grazie) Carrington II, and Eve Lapeyrouse; and great-grandchildren, Brayden Bourg, Jameson and Alexa Verdin, Carter and Calayah Lapeyrouse.

Willie was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn Theresa Brown Lapeyrouse; parents, Ludovic Mederic Lapeyrouse and Ida Marie Roddy Lapeyrouse; brothers, Dovie and Louis Lapeyrouse, Oliver and Alfred Thibodaux; sisters, Elvire L. Detiveaux, Lizzie L. Blanchard, Louise, Daisy and Agnes Lapeyrouse, Edna Chauvin, Doris T. Bergeron, Audrey T. Gautreaux and Leola Thibodaux.
