William F. "Billy" Schwertz

William F. “Billy” Schwertz, 63, a native of New Orleans and resident of Larose passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Saturday, August 14th from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Billy is survived by his wife, Leslie L. Schwertz; sons, Stephen Schwertz (Alexis), Christopher Schwertz (Anahfaye), Thomas Schwertz and Landon Schwertz; brothers, Joseph “Joe” Schwertz, Jr., Michael Schwertz and Arthur “Art” Schwertz; sister, Stella Matera; grandchildren, Riley, Leona, Parker, William Vann and Jackie.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph, Sr. and Maria Schwertz; brother, Peter Schwertz.
