William Cortez, Sr.

William Cortez, Sr., 59, a native of Des Allemands, and resident of Raceland, La., passed away on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024.

Mr. Cortez is survived by his son, William Cortez, Jr.; brothers, Frederick Cortez, Jr. (Mary Larousse), and Michael Valenti; grandchildren, Blaise Cortez and Kayla Cortez; nieces, Hannah Cortez, Julia Kaye Adams, and Victoria Larousse; and brother-in-law, Tony Adams. 

Mr. Cortez was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Frederick Cortez and Julia Mae Oates Cortez; sister, Lisa Kaye Cortez; and niece, Priscilla Scott.
