Wilfred Green

Wilfred Green, 88, native of Evangeline, Louisiana and resident of Des Allemands, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, Louisiana on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM.

Wilfred is survived by his son, Craig Green (Jennifer); grandchildren, Skye, Norah, and Ocean Green (Heather); great-grandchildren, Hazen and Dusty Green; his godchildren, Michael Green, Angie Green Tharpe, and Angie Orgeron; and his brother, Luther Green.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Elsie Rita Green; mother, Lillian Benoit Green; and father, Eldridge Green.

Wilfred was a loving man, devoted father, cherished brother, and proud grandfather. Wilfred served in the National Guard for 4 years and was known for his generous heart and always being full of life. He was a true joy to be around.

The family would like to thank his caregivers, godchild Angie Orgeron, great niece Heather Gravois; Raceland Family Doctor Clinic, especially Dr. Marcello and his staff; and lastly Hope Hospice and his nurses Jodie and Alice.
