Wilbert “Johnnie” Rousselle, Jr., 70, native and resident of Luling, LA, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

Visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Luling, LA on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 10:30 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.

Johnnie is survived by his daughter, Jonnielyn Rousselle; grandchildren, Samantha Frickey, Ryan Frickey and Evan Laiche; great-grandchildren, Kyler, Kamden and Kamron Frickey and Finley Krawczyk; brother, Merrick “Ricky” Rousselle; sister, Michelle Rousselle Dyson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert “Pompey” Rousselle Sr. and Dorothy Guidry Rousselle.

He enjoyed spending time at his condo in Destin, FL and fishing.
