Weldon P. Eschette, 64, a native of Mathews and a resident of Bayou Blue, passed away after a 5 year battle with colon cancer on Thursday, May 27, 2021.
Services will be private.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Madonna F. Eschette; daughter, Misty Eschette; grandchildren, Ronni Sampey and Kevin Michael Sampey II; brother, Nilton J. “Brother” Eschette and sisters, Nelcie Guidry and Nelda Bourgeois.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nilton and Louise Toups Eschette.
Weldon was a hard worker and an outdoorsman. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
