Wallace A. Smith, 78, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Cut Off, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA and from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Toby Smith Sr.; daughters, Rhoda Smith, Tracy Smith; brother, Benny Smith; sisters, Dora Zapczynski, Jacqueline Marotta; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Callais Smith; parents, Abraham Smith Sr. and Leonise "Noonie" Smith; brothers, Abraham "Junior" Smith Jr. and Livingston Smith.
He was active in Shalom Catholic Ministries
