Verna "Tillie" Tindall, 91, a native of Purvis, Miss. and resident of Houma, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 23, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, Miss. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Purvis, Miss.
She is survived by one sister, Joyce Levron; and many nieces and nephews including her niece and caregiver, April Levron Boudreaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sallie Poyner Swan; four brothers, Aryie, Ebb, L.C., and E.J. Swan; and three sisters, Etta Stringer, Vie Crider and Velma Smith.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
