Theresa Savoie, 78, a native of Raceland and a resident of Lockport, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Sheila Danner (Jesse), Laura Ledet, Denise Pitre, Keith Ledet (Pam), Eddie Ledet Jr. (Earlene) and Tina Werner (Justin); sister, Frances Savoie; brothers, Alfred Savoie (JoAnn) and Horace "Pickett" Savoie Jr.; 16 grandchildren 2 step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild on the way and 3 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Sr. and Enzy Brown Savoie; son-in-law, Michael Pitre; grandchildren, Jared Ledet and Michael Pitre and great grandson, M.J. Real.
She was a member of the Lockport Senior Citizens and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
