Sylvia A. Verret, 80, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, December 1, 2025 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
She is survived by her sister, Geralyn Verret; sister-in-law, Marilyn Verret; nephew, Yves Verret III; niece, Caurtaney Verret and great nephew, Ethan Verret.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Yves Verret Sr. and Lula Parr Verret; brother, Yves Verret Jr.
Sylvia was a member of the Council of Catholic Women.
