Susan C. Haygood

Susan C. Haygood, 73, a native of Chauvin, Louisiana and a resident of Lockport, Louisiana passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Susan is survived by her sons, Paul Trahan (Janelle) and Brad Trahan (Kim); daughter, Olivia Davaine (Jaromy); and her grandchildren, Austin, Taylor, Lani, Ashley, Bryant, Andrew, and Addison.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Ray Haygood; parents, Leroy Sr. and Annamae Callais; and her grandchild, Angelle Trahan.

Susan was a woman who found joy in the simple things that made life beautiful. She found joy in reading, crocheting, crafting, and watching her favorite movies. Above all, she treasured her family, especially her beloved grandbabies. The memories, laughter, and precious moments shared with her will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

A very special thank you to all the wonderful staff at The Broadway Elder Living and Rehabilitation in Lockport, Louisiana and ACG Hospice for the love, compassion, and care you have given to Susan. Your kindness, patience, and dedication have meant so much to the family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at 9:00 AM on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Hope Community Church in Houma, Louisiana. Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 AM with a private burial to follow.
