Susan Agnes Blanchard Fournier, 75, passed away on Saturday March 14, 2026. She was a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St, Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in church cemetery.
Susan is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas Glynn Fournier; son, Shane Thomas Fournier and wife, Tracy; daughter, Lanetta Fournier Poincon and husband, Paul Jr.; brother, Thomas Blanchard and wife, Agnes; sisters-in-law, Bonnie “Bunny” Blanchard and JoAnn Jones; grandchildren, Zachary (Macie) Poincon, Payton (Madison) Poincon, McKayla (Caleb “Stanley”) Fournier Bergeron, Tyler (Sabrina) Stone, Trent (Faith) Zorn, Annalise (Curtis “Cletus”) Daigle, and Kolten Marcel son of Dawn and Kevin Marcel; 8 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Howard John Blanchard and Beatrice Theresa Smith Blanchard; and brothers, John and Timothy Blanchard; in-laws, Earl and Shirley Fournier; and brothers-in-law, Lester Fournier and Dickey Jones.
Susan was a believer in Christ. She loved her husband, her family, her friends and her country! (Go Trump!) While Tommy was pipeling across the world, she was his “shot-gun rider”. She traveled across this great country with him! She supported his every decision and was his biggest fan.
She was a great listener and our “go-to” during good times and bad. Her solid advice and her overwhelming optimism on life will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Falgout Funeral Home is honored to serve the Fournier family.
