Summersgill “Champ” Dardar, a resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, in Galliano, dates and times are pending with burial to follow in Serigny Cemetery.
Summersgill is survived by his children, Lena D. Jerstad (Andy), Rose Guidry, James “Jimmy” Dardar (Martha), Earline Verdin (Jay), Samuel “Sam” Dardar (Joy) and Penny Terrebonne; grandchildren, Keith, Melissa, Michael, Mariah, Jamie, Danielle, Jay Jr., Thomas, Theresa, Ryan, Kaelyn, Derick/Riley, Anthony and Tayler; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Taylor, Riah, Channing, Larrisa, Marrisa, Carrisa, Mya, Damon, Gabe, Davin, Brooklyn, Owen, Parker, Marcus, Jacob, Alexander, Gabrielle, Kota, Levi, Cruz, A’Layah, Wyatt and Eli; great-great grandchildren, Trent, Amara, Klay and Kameron and sister, Arthenisa “Te-Taunt” Dardar.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma V. Dardar; parents, Homer Moses Dardar and Valentine Serigny Dardar; grandson, Nicholas Verdin; brothers, Homer “Toot”, Antione, Miguel and Raymond Dardar; sisters, Guirley Dardar and Antoinette “Mae Mae” Dardar.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
