Steve Lefort

Steve Joseph Lefort, 74, a resident of Larose, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025.

Steve is survived by his wife, Linda Thibodaux Lefort; and sons, Chad Lefort (Melanie) and Troy Lefort (Jerry Dale); sister, Gail Broussard; and grandchildren, Jack and Alayna Lefort.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Emelda Lefort; and sisters, Rousline Arceneaux, Jacqueline Rodrigue, and Kathy Richoux.

Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Holy Rosary Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12pm with burial in the church cemetery to follow.

In loving memory, the family would like to honor the life of Steve Lefort who lived his life with purpose, passion, and a deep connection to nature. He was a true outdoorsman who loved the tradition of hunting and fishing. Although he has left this world, his spirit lives on in the whispering trees, the glow of the sunrises over the bayou, and in the cherished memories of all of those who shared in life’s adventures with Steve.
