Steve J. Dufrene, 71, a native of Gheens, LA and a resident of Houma, LA, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
Private services will be later.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Langley; siblings, Frances Dufrene, Meril Dufrene, Jr., David Dufrene and Colette Ryals (Johnny); nieces and nephews, Angie Arkwright (Kelly), Rory Ryals (Tasha); Jeremy Dufrene (Ashley), Heidi Buras (James), Jacob Dufrene (Jessica), Caroline Dufrene, Christopher Ganaway, Joseph Dufrene and Natalie Pierce (Paul).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Meril Dufrene, Sr. and Bessie Dufrene.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
