Sonya Blanchard Cheramie, 70, native and resident of Galliano, passed away on Thursday February 26, 2026.
Visitation will be held at Community Bible Church, in Cut Off, on Thursday, May 7th from 10 am until service time. Memorial services will be held at 11 am.Sonya is survived by her husband, James; sons, Kris Cheramie (Kelsey Duet Cheramie), and Casey Cheramie. Grandchildren Justin Savoie, Jerin Savoie, Zoey Cheramie, and Austin Abadie, brother; Douglas Blanchard Jr (Cathy).She was preceded in death by her parents; Douglas Blanchard “Tattoo”, Merna Lassiegne Blanchard “Toot”, daughter; Page Cheramie Abadie, niece; Karlie Rae Blanchard.
