Sondra Adams Rivet, 79, a native of Lockport and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
She is survived by her daughters; Beryl Rivet Pitre (Chris), Monica Rivet (companion Eric Carney); grandchildren, Kristy Gaudet (Jamie), April Ordoyne (Ryan), Meagan Plaisance (Mark), Alicia Pitre (Companion, Roddy), Sarah Bergeron (Jamie), Jenny Pitre (companion Alex); great grandchildren, Shelby, Maci, Jillian, Taylor, Camryn, Connor, Rylee, Halle, Anthony, Vera, Evan, Jaxon, Christian, Devyn and Brice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis "Sonny" Rivet, Jr.; sons, Glenn David Rivet, Gregory John Rivet, Sr.; grandson, Gregory Rivet, Jr.; parents, Sidney Sr. and Alice Mae Bourgeois Adams and brother, Sidney Adams, Jr.
