Simon Paul Verdin, 81, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Cut Off on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca V. Badeaux, Joette V. Schouest; step children, Chris, Christine, L.J.; brothers, Ulyssee Verdin, George Verdin, Jessie Verdin; sisters, Livia V. Crosby, Tina V. LeBouef, Jeanne V. LeBouef, Anna V. Delaune; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his long time companion, Roseamae Serigny; parents, Justlien and Alzire S. Verdin; brothers, Julian Verdin, Morris Verdin, Mark Verdin; sisters, Marylee Verdin, Beaulah V. Billiot; grandchild, Barry Badeaux, Jr.
Falgout Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
