Sidney “Chief” Wainwright, 67, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and a resident of Larose, LA, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA.
He is survived by his daughter, Sydnie Wainwright; brother, Dennis Wainwright; sisters, Wilma Hoing, Susan O’Neal and Sandra Wainwright.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wainwright, Sr. and Edith Billiot Wainwright; brothers, James Wainwright, Jr. and Albert Wainwright, Sr.
Chief enjoyed antique cars, fishing and anything Indian.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
