Shirley Landry Guidry

Shirley Landry Guidry, 91, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Galliano, passed away on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026.

She is survived by her four daughters, Shelly Cheramie (Allen), Pam Doucet (Wayne), Debbie Gautreaux (Terry), and Jenny Jarreau (Mike); 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom she greatly adored. She is also survived by her two sisters, Pearl Ledet and Rita Lowry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Jay” Guidry; her granddaughter, Lacey Celeste Doucet; and her parents, Antoine and Velida Cavalier Landry.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, on Friday, January 9th, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow the Mass at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
