Shirley Mae Blanchard Allemand, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence J. Allemand; four children, Marlene Allemand, Marlon Allemand, Shirlene Fielder, Norris Allemand and wife Suzie Falgout; two grandchildren, Kendra Brown and husband Jess and Hailey Allemand and companion, Bryan Rodrigue; three great grandchildren, Lylah Rodrigue, Ashby Stevens and Jack Brown; sister, Sarah Aysenne and brother, Leroy Blanchard.
She is preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Ivy and Ida Blanchard; mother and stepfather, Corinne and Edgar Pitre; brothers, Alton and Earl Blanchard and sister-in-law, Doris Hebert.
Shirley Mae was a cherished wife, sister, mother and friend, who loved her family with all her heart.
