Sherwood "Frenchy" Berard
January 19, 1943 — August 6, 2025
Sherwood “Frenchy” Berard, 82, a native of Luling, LA and a resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Luling, LA. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lois L. Berard; son, Tony Dempster (Brenda); daughter, Vickie A, Dempster; brother, Vindex R. Berard; grandson, Keith Sonnier; great grandchildren, Aubrey and Keith II; great-great grandchildren, Kinsley and Keith III.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mickie Dempster; parents, Vindex J. Berard and Martha P. Berard and brother, Glenn A. Berard.
Frenchy was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran and a member of the VFW.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
