Shedric "Joe" Bananto, 88, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Garner (Viola), Wayne Garner (companion, Pat); grandchildren, Richard, Daniel, Jill, Jace; great grandchildren, Julian, Jenna, Macy, Tanner, Cole, Myles and daughter-in-law, Brenda Garner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Bananto; parents, Frank Sr. and Eunice Bananto and brothers, Frank Jr., Norman and Donald Bananto.
Joe was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
In lieu of flowers donations for Masses are preferred.
