Shane Thomas Wainwright, 59, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. A Memorial Service will be at 12:00 PM.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Rumore Wainwright; sons, Kerry Wainwright, Cy Wainwright; daughters, Shera Wainwright, Meshell Wainwright Suiaunoa-Garcia, Sara Wainwright; brother, Jeffery Wainwright; sisters, Laura Driver, Pam Whatley and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Conrad Wainwright and Rosie Ellis Wainwright.
Shane was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman and a professional teller of tall tales. A unique character that will be forever missed by many from this world stage.
