Seth John Matherne, 53, a native of Gramercy and native of Baton Rouge, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, in Paradis, on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 10 am until the Mass of Christian burial at 11am with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands.
Seth is survived by his daughter, Hannah Kindleberger; granddaughter, Delilah; father, Robert A. Matherne (Loretta); mother, Margaret Matherne (Mark Meyers); sisters, Rebecca Grob (Neal), Laura Matherne, Jessamyn Linden (Vic); step-brother, Kyle Christen; step-sisters, Lydia Kinler (Drauzin) and Nicole Woods (Ryan) as well as numerous extended family and friends.
