Selma Falgout Bagala

Selma Falgout Bagala, 85, a native of Gheens, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am.

She is survived by her daughter, Tara Harris (Ralph D. Harris, Jr.); son-in-law, Walter Hendrix; grandchildren, Benjamin (Hannah), Brock (Natasha) and Kyle; great grandchildren, Aiden, Abigail, Landyn, Ryleigh, Onyx, Tucker, Riley, Ethan, Lilli, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Craig Ballard; second husband, Frank Waynon Bagala; daughter, Kyra Ann Hendrix; parents, Nacy and Augusta Falgout; brother, Roland Falgout and sister, Shirley Sapia.

Selma was a volunteer at the Good Samaritans. She enjoyed reading and gardening.
