Scott Michael Abadie

Scott Michael Abadie, 53, native of Marrero, Louisiana and resident of Raceland, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Scott is survived by his parents, Mitchel and Rheanell Abadie; brother, Chad Abadie (Joyce); nieces and nephews, Eric Abadie, Corey Crepell, Courtney Ates, Jordan Abadie; and his partner, Travis Willby.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dennis and Lillian Zeringue; and his paternal grandparents, Herman and Susan Abadie.

Scott was a man who loved fishing. He grew up many weekends fishing at his grandfather’s camp in Grande Isle. He was an avid Saints fan and loved to watch the game on Sundays with his parents. He was intelligent and enjoyed working with his hands. He followed politics closely and never felt the need to shy from his opinions. He enjoyed browsing the internet and playing games on his laptop. He will be greatly missed and always loved by those who knew him.
