Sam Joiner, 63, a native of Tennessee and resident of Houma, died at 1:14 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013.
A memorial service was Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Darla Joiner; daughters, Tisha (Joey Babin) Joiner and Nola Joiner; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and several family members.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
