Ruth Cheramie Rushing, 63, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Monday, December 14th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 12:00 p.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her Husband, David Rushing; brother, Ronald Cheramie; grandchildren, Tesla Barrios, Jonathan Bourg; great grandchildren, Bentley Billiot, Rage Lyons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Linwood and Irene Cheramie; daughter, Rachel K. Bourg; grandchild, Kaleb Pitre.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
