Russell David Eschette

Russell David Eschette, 61, a native and a resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Russell is survived by his loving wife, of 11 years, Ann Eschette; sons, Trae Eschette & Auston Eschette (Marlene); daughters, Jordi Matherne (Jonathan), Heather Hendrix (Mark Hebert); grandchildren, Landon Matherne, Julianne Matherne, Jameson Matherne, Levi Hebert; brothers, Robert Eschette (Kris), Raymond Eschette (Iris), Richard Eschette (Connie), Kelly Loupe (Candy), Kerry Loupe; sister, Diane Lirette; brother-in-law’s, Michael Loupe, Troy Sampey, Charles Condley Jr.; sister-in-law’s, Stephanie Sampey, Lola Eschette; and his mother in law, Sally Orgeron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ashton and Marian Eschette; brother, Ray Eschette; sister, Lee Ann Loupe; brother-in-law, Roland Lirette; and his father-in-law, Charles Condley Sr.

Russell was a true Harley-Davidson enthusiast, he found freedom, peace, and joy every time he climbed onto his motorcycle and hit the open road.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, LA beginning at 9:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, Louisiana at 11:00AM with burial to follow in church cemetery.
