Roy J. DuBois

Roy J. DuBois, 80, a native and resident of Larose passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Family and friends are invited to a visitation, on June 10, 2026, from 9:30 am until the funeral Mass at 11:00 am, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, in Larose, with burial following in the church cemetery.

Roy is survived by his children; Toby DuBois, Sondra Callais (Reggie), Rhonda Charpentier (Craig), Troy DuBois (Cherie), grandchildren; Kody Guidry, Scarlet Dobson (Travis), Colby Callais, Cieralyn Callais, Ava Charpentier and brothers, Ernest DuBois (Pandora), Euris DuBois (Connie), David DuBois (Sandra) and Timmy DuBois (Jada) and great-grandson, Julian Dobson.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Mary DuBois; parents, Louis J. DuBois and Corrine Delatte DuBois; daughter-in-law, Julie Williams DuBois and granddaughter; Chelsea Callais.

Roy was the past president of the Cut Off Fishing Club and former treasurer where he still sits as an officer on the board. He was an avid deer hunter. He enjoyed cooking but most of all loved spending time with his family and friends.
