Roy J. Anselmi, 87, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9:30 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Roy is survived by his sister: Verda Guidroz and brother in law: Roy Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Roy was preceded in death by his longtime companion: Nora Guidry; parents, Alexander and Angelina Anselmi; brothers, Fedless Anselmi (Rosa Jean), Gilbert Auseve (Lorida “Blondie”); sisters, Lorida Rogers (Early), Leona Guidry (Nolan), Austreda Collins (Nerby), Clauodet Duet (Roland) and Leoda Williams and brother in law: Sidney Guidroz.
He was a proud Army Veteran, member of American Legion Post 259, and loved traveling.
