Rosemary Vizier Guidry, 84, a native of Galliano, LA and a resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 in Cut Off, LA.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday, October 1, 2013 and from 10:00 AM until 12:45 PM Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October, 2, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Freddy Guidry, Jr. and wife Charlotte; grandchildren, Simon Guidry and wife Stephanie, Tracy Angelette and husband Neil, Sandy Guidry; great grandchildren, Garrett, Peyton, Luke, Natalie, Nicholas, Mark and great-great grandchild, Brooklynn; sisters Jane Vizier Rouchon and Rose Vizier Galjour.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Freddy Guidry, Sr. and second husband James Heckrodt; parents, Odee and Leonica Charpentier Vizier; brothers, Morris, Valcour, Jimmie, Tommie Vizier; sisters, Verna Callais, Odette Thibodaux and Mary Gilbert.
She was a teacher and guidance councilor for 33 years in the Lafourche Parish School System.
