Roger Noah Pitre

Roger N. Pitre, 77, a native and a resident of Raceland, La. passed away on July 9, 2026 with his loving family near his side.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery.

Roger is survived by his children; Chad (Missy) Pitre, Heidi (Andre’) Danos, and Amanda (E.J.) Marcel, grandchildren; Chase (Elisabeth) Pitre, Madi (Tre) Pitre, Emma Danos and Sy Danos, great-grandchildren; Weston Cortez, Ruston Cortez and Caden Pitre, sister; Linda P. Arcement, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Judy Saucier Pitre, parents; Lawrence, Jr. and Odette Breaux Pitre.

Roger was an avid family man who enjoyed operating heavy equipment, gardening, fishing, hunting and tinkering with just about anything imaginable.
