Robert “Bob” L. Mitchell, 78, a native of Montgomery, AL and a resident of Galliano, LA, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Mitchell; daughters, Michele Lee (James), Lucinda Cheramie (Grant) and Ginger Mitchell (Terry); grandchildren, Robert (Lizza Mae), Shelly (Dennis), Lacey (Russell), Amber (Jason), Shane, Kendall (John), Abbigayle, Aaron and Jasen; great grandchildren, Baily, Aubrey, Molly, Jaymes, Adalee, Ayden, Leo, Luca, Antonia and Gracie; brothers, Dick, Tom (Judy), David (Fran), Paul and Lloyd Mitchell; sisters, Liz Curran (Mick) Linda Barron; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Jernigan an Bonnie Welch and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Louise Mitchell; sister, Wanda Carter and brother-in-law, Charlie Barron.
Bob was a retired Vietnam War Army Veteran. He enjoyed spending time at the South Lafourche Library and fishing.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA.
