Robert F. Guidry, 88, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday.
He is survived by his son, John M. Guidry; grandchildren, Kristen Guidry Gilbert (Robert), Amber Guidry and great grandchildren, Robert John Gilbert and Kason James Gilbert.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Plaisance; daughters, Carolyn Guidry, Joan Guidry; parents, John and Lillian Lefort Guidry; brothers, Richard "Dick" Guidry, Lloyd Guidry and sister, Rosie Harris.
Robert was a Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus. He was a World War II and Korean Conflict Army Veteran.
