Robert J. Adams

Robert “Blood” J. Adams, 81, a native of Lockport and resident of Larose gained his angel wings on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Mr. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Evelyn M. Adams; children: Greg Joel Adams, Anita A. Becker (David); grandchildren: Ross Jacob Adams, Ean Jude Adams, Sarah Becker Hebert (Jeff), Sierra Nicole Becker; great grandchild: Jacob Michael Adams; and siblings: Norman J. Adams, Dianna A. Folse, Russell J. Adams, and Sidney J. Adams Jr.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents: Sidney J. Adams and Margie Guidry Adams; grandson: Brett Joel Adams; and brothers: Colbert Adams, and David Adams.

Mr. Robert loved planting trees, tending his vegetable garden, and being outside in his yard. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandson.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose from 10:00 am until service time. Mr. Robert’s Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
