Rita Marie Larousse Delatte

Rita “Lolli” Marie Larousse Delatte, 89, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 7:09 a.m. She was a native and resident of Gheens, LA.

 Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Friday, September 6, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens on Saturday, September 7, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, LA.

 Rita is survived by her sons, Douglas J. Delatte and wife, Janice and Joe P. Delatte and wife, Lisa; daughter, Belinda D. Rivet; sister-in-law, Lois Larousse; and 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

 Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Eurise Joseph Delatte; daughter, Melissa D. Elder; son-in-law, Brian Rivet; parents, Joseph Fortune Larousse and Louisiane Marie Plaisance Larousse; brothers, Joseph, Victor, Louis, Andrew, Milton, Wilton, Clifton, Nilton, Vanton and Benton Larousse; and sisters, Amanda Sevin and Irene Dufrene.
