Richard P. Adams, Jr.

Richard “Dickie” P. Adams, Jr., a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Holy Savoir Catholic Church, Lockport, LA with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Angela B. Adams; son, Justin P. Adams; grandchildren, Diem A. Adams and Lennon P. Adams; brother, Kirk Adams; sisters, Perserpia A. Clark, Janel A. Chiasson (Terry) and Penelope A. Fanguy (Tommy); many nieces and nephews and many pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard P. Adams, Sr. and Geraldine V. Adams; sister-in-law, Andree B. Adams; brother-in-law, Bobby Clark; and godchild, Brandon Clark.

He was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He was part of a family owned business, R & S Fabrication/G & S Marine. He was an avid sports fan especially LSU and Saints. He was known for his friendly outlook and willingness to help anyone and will be greatly missed.
