Rene P. LeCompte, Sr., 85, a native of Terrebonne Parish, former resident of Chauvin, LA and a resident of Houma, LA passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Falgout Funeral Home, Houma, LA. And from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Chauvin, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Rene LeCompte, Jr and wife April; daughter, Angela LeCompte and companion Kevin Simoneaux, Cora Dronet; brother, Raymond LeCompte; sisters, Rose Mary Charpentier, Gertrude Theriot, Gloria Thibodaux; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Domangue LeCompte; parents Gilbert and Rita P. LeCompte; and brothers, Leward and Elwood LeCompte.
