Raymond Joseph Dufrene, 97, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at First Assembly of God Church, Des Allemands, LA. Religious services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday with burial to follow in the Mennonite Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Leslie Dufrene and wife Evelyn, Dale Dufrene and wife Mary; daughter, Flora Arceneaux; brothers, Lloyd Dufrene, Willis Dufrene; sister, Loretta Landry; 8 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Dufrene; son-in-law, Wally Arceneaux; parents, Maloney and Clementine M. Dufrene; brothers, Murphy, Wilmer, Alvin Dufrene and sisters, Alma Sevin and Leta Dufrene.
Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
