Randy Paul Griffin

Randy Paul Griffin, 62, a native of Lockport, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. One of the best men ever gained his angel wing’s. Randy was the type of person to do anything for anyone even if he didn’t know them. He was the best husband, dad and grandpa. As his granddaughter said he is no longer suffering, drinking his food and eating his snacks.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, April 10, 2026 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Savior Mausoleum, Lockport, LA.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Matherne Griffin; daughter, Kristi Lynn Adams (Andrew); step daughter, Kristie Gonzales (Robie); step son, Derrick Breaux (Teri) and Adam Benoit (Megan); grandchildren, Kamber Hebert, Gracie Breaux, Noah Adams, Heaven Adams; brother, Bobby Griffin and godchild, Jessie Dupre.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand Griffin Sr. and Mabel Griffin; brothers, Ferdinand “Jr” Griffin, Freddie Griffin and sisters, Marie Eschete and Adela Dupre.

Randy enjoyed hunting, gardening with his wife, taking care of his dog Harley and working on and racing cars.
