Velma Adams Plaisance, 86, a native of Lockport, and resident of Raceland, died Friday, April 26, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time today at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. today at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Plaisance; son, Nickie (Kimra) Plaisance; daughter, Brenda (Ron) Hunt; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lilier and Alexina Thibodaux Adams.
Falgout Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements
