Paul Preston Chiasson Jr

Paul Preston Chiasson Jr, 79, native and resident of Lockport, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Mr. Preston is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Thelma Chiasson; sons, Daniel (Jill) Chiasson, Scott (Jessica) Chiasson, Jason Chiasson; six grandchildren, Brianne Chiasson Pharm. D (Hayes), Owen Chiasson, Margo Chiasson, Colleen Chiasson (Joseph), Peyton Chiasson, Ashton Chiasson; and soon to be great-great grandson, Jean-Luc Domingue.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Sr and Mildred Chiasson; Father-in-law Richard Rome.

Mr. Preston was a dedicated and fully devoted family man. He loved to spend his spare time outdoors hunting and by the water fishing. He was also proud graduate from Holy Savior Catholic School class of 1965. While in school at Nicholls, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and became a Combat Medic during the Vietnam War. He became a part of the 44th Evacuation Battalion in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. Preston later became a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and The American Legion.

Services for Mr. Preston will be held privately.
