Paul M. Arceneaux, Jr.

Paul “Capt. Mo” M. Arceneaux Jr., 84, a native of Larose and resident of Cut Off passed away on March 9, 2026.

Mr. Paul is survived by his children: Sandra Richoux, Arthur Arceneaux (Carlyn), and Maurice Arceneaux (Peggy); grandchildren: Lilli Sanchez (Ashton), Peggy Arceneaux, David Paul Arceneaux, Corey Arceneaux, and Lacey Lee; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and sibings: Anthony Arceneaux (Molly), Thelma Arceneaux Neal, Robert Arceneaux, Lucy Arceneaux Griffin (Baybay) and canine companion: Mila.

Mr. Arceneaux was preceded in death by his wife: Vivian Trahan Arceneaux; son: Paul Maurice Arceneaux; grandson: Maurice Arceneaux Jr.; parents: Morris and Velma Savoie Arceneaux; siblings: Ann Viator, and Roy Arceneaux.

Capt. Mo loved to fish, spending time at his camp, but most of all he loved being with his family and friends making memories.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, March 13th, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off from 10:00 am until service time. The United Veterans League will provide military honors at 11:00 am to be followed by Mr. Paul’s Funeral Mass at 12 noon and burial in the Church Cemetery.
