Patsy Ruth Hebert Duplantis

Patsy Ruth Hebert Duplantis, 99, a native and resident of Houma, LA, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

Patsy is survived by her son, Patrick M. Babin; daughters, Deborah B. Garner, Janell B. Cook (John), Rhonda B. Bates, Lisa B. Landry (Vergis ‘Jr.’); brother, Julius “Jules” Hebert (Anna); and sister, Norma Authement; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Raymond Duplantis; parents, Cliddament L. Duplantis and Julie M. Naquin Hebert; great-grandchildren, Margo Barrett Dupre, Chad Barrett, Danny Garner Jr., Michael Barrett; daughter-in-law, Brenda Babin; son-in-law, Danny Garner Sr.; brothers, Wilbert Herbert and Andrew Hebert (Helen); sisters, Elza Bergeron, Annabelle Cogdell, Helen Domangne, Wilma James, Julie Malbrough; and her brother-in-law, Nason Authement.

Patsy was a member of the YMCA. She also enjoyed painting and shopping when she could.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, June 5th at Falgout Funeral Home located in Houma, LA starting at 9:00AM with funeral service starting at 10:00AM with burial to follow at St. Francis II cemetery.
